We have only one planet. It is our only home, there is no planet B for us.

The temperature is rising, but the measures to halt the rise, the “Plan A” is not working fast enough. Net zero is an important goal, but it is far too slow to be implemented. And even after it is eventually implemented, the temperature will continue to rise for many decades, because of all the CO2 already in the atmosphere and in the oceans.

In those decades we will hit several climate tipping points, which will be virtually impossible to reverse. This really is serious and urgent.

Net zero is heavily reliant on carbon credits. Some carbon credits projects do work, but many are of doubtful value, or indeed may cause more heating than cooling!! We can think of net zero as “Plan A”. But it is in serious trouble, and needs a thorough overhal before it can be fit for purpose. Huge sums of money have been spent, and much of it is wasted on useless or downright fraudulent projects.

As an alternative to carbon credits, we must implement cooling credits. These do not really exist at the moment. This website is intended as a place holder on the internet, where cooling credits may in the future be bought and sold. A forum where concerned investors can find suitable projects to invest in.

It is intended that cooling credits will be used to fund significant projects, which really will have a direct and relatively rapid cooling effect. Solar Radiation Management will have to be implemented very soon. It is not the ideal solution, but it may be the only viable solution that is rapid. This is our “Plan B”.
